Hira Progress 2013-2016

Here it is. Progress from 2013-2016 for Hira.

.... This is actually quite mortifying. But it's interesting to reflect on improvements.

There's actually another one from 2012, but the only file I have of it is very low resolution and has the wrong app (I at first intended for her to be a scholar from Gale Spring). Also, I'll spare your eyes. It's cringe-worthy - probably the biggest jump in my artstyle, from splashing wildly and drowning to dog paddling. But, well, if you really want to see (you have been warned): Hira 2012
_{(I also misinterpreted a translation and her name became a language. "Hira" actually means "peace", though, so I've shortened/changed it to that.)}

The first three versions here had extreme influence from very few sources, but the most recent one is a more synergistic representation of my imagination. I'm quite happy with it.

Let's see... over time, her eyes lost their orange hue and became crimson, her clothing went from pale green to eye-burn light green and back to pale green, the dark green got darker, the yellow became golden... Her design became more Japanese? Her hair became a lot less contained. She looks older. 

2012-2013 was the switch to lineart and some digital proficiency, Aug 2013-Sept 2013 was the switch from dA Muro to my tablet PC, 2013-2014 had no extreme shift (maybe harder shading), 2014-2016 was the switch to Procreate and later the expressive-line style.
